The Astbury is an independent culture hub and private members club where the creative, cerebral, and social shift the status quo.
INSIDE
We chose a neighbourhood with soul, and designed five fab floors of fresh air and fresh thinking to empower the most creative minds in the city to live, work, gather, grow.
You'll find studios and venues, a library, quiet nooks, buzzy lounges, lease-free workspace for when you need to deliver, salas for meetings and private dining, a gallery, smiling barista, private chef, connected Fam, gorgeous plants from our large café to our beautiful roof gardens, and inspired thinking from our Philippines and international travel.
The entire space is for Members to share, with venues, studios, and salas only bookable for those moments where privacy is key. Access whenever you need it, bring your well behaved pets, connect with other members or just take a moment to yourself; stow your luggage, initiate your own events and programs, bring the tropa over on Sunday. It's a club, go do club stuff.
As a collective we stand together stronger, our intentions are amplified, our challenges shared and surmountable. Plus it's way more fun than another Netflix binge.
We've been working with entrepreneurs, shapers, creative minds and original thinkers for over a decade, supporting projects, connecting people, evangelising for the indie. By design, you’ll forge partnerships, gain perspectives, share experiences, or just imbibe at the bar with an authentic spirit from just outside of your comfort zone.
We ain't no restaurant or mall to franchise fast-food. We have a private chef to whip up what fuels you. Our menus change with the seasons, our tastes and values do not.
Dine al fresco or in your own sala, request "the usual" from your barista or bartender; ask our private chef what’s in his kitchen today, join guest chef events or even grill for your crew; or choose from our in-club menus, ethically sourced and with minimal waste.
We always include options for plant-loving beauties and omnivores alike. Hyper-local, carefully crafted, sarapalicious food and coffee, with a cabinet of curiosities for wine, whiskey, gin, and infusion seekers.
All that is valuable in human society depends upon the opportunity for development accorded the individual.

Our studios, venues, and programs have been a welcoming space for years. With a hands-on crew during showtime, and an open mind during ideation, we're all about amplifying our shared advocacies and vocations and productions. From Burlesque and spoken word, to tech and design learning, screenings and exhibits to mind-blowing music performances by original artists, hilarious comedy, and captivating theater, our venues and support have made life easier for producers and created impactful shows for audiences.
